"Second first flight" after seven years

The 12th of February marked an almost historic moment for the former Saad Group Airbus A340-642X with the registration VP-CCC. After being delivered and flown for outfitting to Jet Avaition in Basle in 2008, the project was cancelled and the plane was put into storage. Finally the Gouvernment of Azerbaijam took over the plane and after seven years it took off again for the first time with it's new registration 4K-AI08 on February 12th, 2014. The plane will enter service as presidental plane for Azerbaijan and operated by Azerbaijan Airlines.
